Steaming fresh vegetables is the best way to preserve their flavour and natural goodness.

Steaming vegetables retains vitamins and minerals and preserves their natural full flavour. The classic blossom-shape steamer, constructed of stainless steel with a mirror finish, fits into most saucepans and stockpots

For best results, pour water into the bottom of the pan and bring to the boil. Open steamer basket to fit the saucepan. Place the food into the steamer, lower into the saucepan and cover with the saucepan lid.

The Appetito vegetable steamer basket may also be used for steaming fish, meat or poultry.
